Kampusareena building property electricity consumption and power quality

Electrical measurement data of property electricity in the Kampusareena building in Tampere. The property electricity includes ventilation, cooling machines, elevators, electric vehicle charging, solar power plant and other loads that are used for the common areas of the building. The measurement point is at the supply side of the main distribution board.

The ventilation is used to change the indoor air of the building. The electrical maximum power of the ventilation has been measured to be 138 kW. The ventilation load mostly consists of frequency converters that drive fans of the ventilation. The ventilation has been a part of a FCR-N reserve unit pool since September 2020.

The data includes 179 continuous timeseries measurement quantities aggregated at 1-second interval. The measurement quantities consist of voltage, current, power and energy, and power quality quantities such as symmetrical components of voltage, and harmonic voltages and currents. For details about the measurements see the master's thesis: https://urn.fi/URN:NBN:fi:tty-201811222711

Various electrical measurements related to the total building maintenance power consumption in Kampusareena. Includes power used for ventilation, cooling, elevators, electric vehicle charging and others. Measurements include basic electrical measrurements such as power, current, voltage and cumulative energy, but also advanced power quality measurements such as symmetrical components of voltage, and voltage and current harmonics.

See the ProCem project for general information about how the measurements are stored and can be used. See the eQL quality meter group for general information about the used measurement device. See the Kampusareena group for general information about the building.
